William Reese “Bill” Walden, Sr., age 40, of Middletown, passed away on Wednesday, October 10, 2018.

Born in Wilmington, DE on March 22, 1978, he was a son of Billy Ray and the late Linda Susan (Shupe) Walden. Bill graduated from Hodgson Vo-Tech where he earned his machinist certificate. Later, he obtained his journeyman certificate and dedicated his career as a machinist.

Bill was an avid boater, crabber and enjoyed the beach. He was a family man who loved them dearly, especially his children.

In addition to his mother, Bill was preceded in death by his sisters, Dawn Walden and Laurie Walden. He is survived by his former spouse, Jessica Walden; children, William Reese Walden, Jr., Dawn Marie Walden, Jacklynn Rae Walden, Abigail Elizabeth Joy Walden; brother, Frank Hess; and nephew, Frank Hess.

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 1 pm until 2 pm on Sunday, October 21, 2018, at Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 1000 North DuPont Parkway, New Castle, DE, where a Celebration of Life will begin at 2 pm. Interment will be held privately.
