Daniel J. Rodgers, age 65, of Philadelphia, PA, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 29, 2018
Born in Philadelphia, PA on February 2, 1953, he was a son of the late Francis O. and Maryann (Wilson) Rodgers. Daniel worked as a commercial mover for the former Bermann Brothers in Philadelphia.
A true Philadelphian, you could always find Daniel cheering on his beloved teams. He was a member of the Mummers Fancy Brigade Alpha Club. Daniel’s hobbies included drawing, painting and fishing.
In addition to his parents, Daniel was preceded in death by his niece, Kimberly McKenna. He is survived by his brother, Raymond F. Rodgers (Anna) of Newark; the cherished uncle of Stephanie Kobialka (Ray) of Newark and Courtney Rodgers (Kyle) of Philadelphia; and Honey Cap and Zarro families.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 10 am until 11 am on Wednesday, August 1, 2018 at Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 121 West Park Place, Newark, DE, where a memorial service will begin at 11 am. Interment will be held privately.
