Supporting Children

Our families are important to us – the families we serve, and our own families at home. Our children’s book Be A Buddy, Not A Bully has been read to children in New Castle County and is available to families at our locations.

Supporting STEM in Schools

Spicer-Mullikin proudly supports science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) education in Delaware. We enjoy presenting at local schools and speaking with students about the funeral trade and the science involved.

Supporting Our Troops

Spicer-Mullikin proudly supports and honors Wounded Warriors and all U.S. military service members and veterans who protect our security and freedom.

The Tree of Life

Supporting the Delaware Association of Police

Spicer-Mullikin supports the Delaware Association of Police, which works diligently to promote law and order, and to keep our communities safe. We’re honored to stand behind an association that works to enhance the quality of life for all Delaware citizens and visitors by providing professional, competent and compassionate law enforcement services.

Supporting the Rotary Clubs of Wilmington, Newark, Southern New Castle County and MOT Rotary

The staff at Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Homes & Crematory supports the mission of the Rotary Club of Wilmington, Newark Rotary Club, Rotary Club of Southern New Castle County, and the MOT Rotary Club (Middletown, Odessa, Townsend). Whether it’s through community service, vocational work or general goodwill, the company believes that service to others is a significant part of Spicer-Mullikin’s guiding philosophy.

Supporting Religious and Faith-Based Communities

Spicer-Mullikin proudly supports religious and faith-based organizations in Delaware. Like those who are part of these communities, we at Spicer-Mullikin believe that hope, grace, charity, service and support for neighbors, friends and those in need make this world a better place.

Supporting Local Businesses

Here at Spicer-Mullikin we proudly support local businesses in New Castle County and Delaware through long-lasting relationships, event sponsorships and mutual support. We know that sending flowers and food is one way to support people who are suffering a loss, which is why we maintain relationships with local florists and caterers who have served our families for generations.

We also offer livestreaming and video recording services through our partnership with local business O.K. Video, so family and friends can attend services without being there in person. Ask your funeral director for more information.

Meet our caring staff.
