I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I did not know your loved one personally, but I do know the pain of losing a loved one in death. It is my hope that you may find comfort from family and friends, and from “the God of all comfort” who can provide us with peace during such difficult times. – 2 Corinthians 1:3

  8. Preston "Perch" Lee, January 24, 2015

This is a note for Michael Christian’s parents, Walter and Katherine Christian. I am Preston Lee, a close friend of you late son Walt. You may remember me by my nickname, Perch. I was very sorry to read about the passing of you son Michael. I only remember him as a child, but it sounds as if he grew to be a wonderful, son, husband, father and grandfather. I’m sure you were proud of him and miss him very much. Although he also died much too young, you were able to enjoy him much longer than my good friend Walt.I just wanted you to know that my thoughts and prayers are with you and Michael’s family.

Sorry for your loss. I knew Mike from time spent in the saddle cycling over the past 15 years, a caring and wonderful man with a great sense of humor, he will be missed.

I am very sorry to hear this sad news
I worked with Michael back in the days of Datsun
I learned a great deal from him in my early days working on cars.
He was an excellent auto technician and a good friend when we worked together.
I’ll miss him. I really wanted to attend the service but will be out of town in Tennessee all next week.
My condolences to the Christian family. Michael was a great man and friend to me.

To the family: Marvin and I are so sorry for your loss. We both enjoyed Mike very much and I know Kyle just loved him dearly. It’s such a shame that Silas will never get to know his grandfather. Please forgive us for not attending the Memorial Service, but we thought it best to take care of Silas so you could be sure he was alright while you could concentrate on the service without worrying about him. We love you all dearly and our thoughts and prayers are with you.
