Robert A. Ardis, age 81, of Wilmington, DE passed away on Thursday, February 27, 2014, at the Parkview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, where he was a resident.
Born in Wilmington, DE on November 7, 1932, Mr. Ardis was the son of late Lawrence T. Ardis and Bessie Croes Ardis.
He proudly served his country in the US Army during the Korean War. Mr. Ardis made his career as a security guard with Delmarva Power where he worked for many years until his retirement.
A graveside service will be held at 10 am on Friday morning, March 21, 2014, at the Riverview Cemetery, 33rd and Market Streets, Wilmington, DE, with burial to follow.
