Roger L. Campbell
May 26, 1956 – November 27, 2014
Roger L. Campbell, age 58, of Newark, Delaware passed away peacefully in the comfort of his home on Thursday, November 27, 2014.
Born on May 26, 1956 in Wilmington, Delaware, he was the son of the late James Campbell and Juanita ( Hamilton) Campbell.
Mr. Campbell proudly served his country with the U.S. Marine Corps.
He most recently worked for Popular Greetings, Inc. in Elkton, MD as a maintenance technician.
Roger will always be remembered as a loving father, grandfather, brother and dear friend to many.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Shonie Campbell Thomas and Judy Britton. Roger is survived by a daughter, Desirae N. Mandato of Newark; son, Steven L. Campbell of Newark; siblings, Kenneth Campbell, James Campbell, Jenny Whitt, Theresa Whitt and Linda Dunn; and five grandchildren.
A committal service will be held 11 am on Wednesday morning, December 10, 2014 in the chapel of Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 2465 Chesapeake City Road, Bear, DE.
