October 23, 1947 - January 14, 2021

Barbara A. Eaton, age 73, of Newark, DE, passed away on Thursday, January 14, 2021.

Born in Wilmington, DE, on October 23, 1947, she was a daughter of the late Eugene and Hazel (Graham) Marshall. Barbara spent most of her youth in Brisbane, Australia. She was a member of St. Georges United Methodist Church, and would hug anyone she could out of her love for people. Barbara was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, aunt, and sister. She was very involved with Carl, Wendy and Nathan’s school and sports activities. Barbara enjoyed doing needle point work and crocheting in her free time.

In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by her sister, Dorothy Schulte. She is survived by her children, Carl O. Eaton (Donna) of Indianapolis, IN, Wendy A. Kite (James, Sr.) of Middletown and Nathan M. Eaton (Courtney) of Bel Air, MD; siblings, Caroline Marshall, Margaret Hay, Eugene Marshall and Helen Marshall, all of Australia; and grandchildren, Maddie, Jamie, Luke, Drew, Tyler, Alexa and Savannah.

A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
