Deborah Ann “Debby” Wilson

Deborah Ann “Debby” Wilson, age 73, of Bluffton, SC, formerly of Wilmington Manor, passed away on Thursday, December 30, 2021.
Born in Wilmington, DE, on July 14, 1948, she was a daughter of the late John C. and Edith J. (Palmer) Wilson, Sr. Debby worked as a travel agent for many years. Dedicated to her community, she served as a life member and past president of the Wilmington Manor Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary. In her spare time, Debby enjoyed ceramics, collecting teddy bears, and traveling, especially visiting Disney World and taking Disney Cruises. She was fondly known to friends and family as “Aunt Debby”.
Debby is survived by her siblings, Carole A. Hayden of Wilmington, John C. Wilson, Jr. (Joan) of New Castle, Cheryl L. Morton of Bluffton, SC, and Kevin B. Wilson of Miami, FL; nieces and nephews, Lesly Hemphill, Christopher Hayden, John Wilson III (Alyn), Karen Patterson (Ronald), Brian Wilson, Sandra Hypes, Gene Morton (Amy), Wayne Morton (Joanne), Edith Nipper, Alexandra Arricale (Chris), and Klaxon Wilson; and many great-nieces, great-nephews, and godchildren.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 12 pm until 1 pm on Tuesday, January 11, 2022, at Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 1000 North DuPont Parkway, New Castle, DE, where a funeral service will be held at 1 pm. Face coverings will be required for all those in attendance regardless of vaccination status. Interment will be held in St. Peter the Apostle Cemetery, 2521 Harmony Street, New Castle, DE.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Debby’s memory to the Wilmington Manor Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary, P.O. Box 645, New Castle, DE 19720.
