John H. Lang

John H. Lang, age 95, of New Castle, DE, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 8, 2022.
Born in Butler Township, PA, on August 13, 1927, he was a son of the late John and Mary Lang. John proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy during World War II, and made his career as a warehouseman in the parts department for Atlantic Aviation, retiring after 25 years of dedicated service. John was an avid Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies fan and enjoyed watching the horse races at Delaware Park.
In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his son, Glenn J. Lang. He is survived by his loving wife, Johanna J. (Vallo) Lang; son, Brian J. Lang; daughter-in-law, Joanne “J.J.” (Lam) Lang; grandchildren, Jason, Stacey, Garrett and Travis; and 7 great grandchildren.
Services and interment will be held privately.

He was an amazing man with a great sense of humor who loved and guided his family. He will truly be missed but now he is with his son Glenn J. Lang. I will miss them both all the days of my life. Love always, JJ.

Although I never had the honor to meet this wonderful man my heart aches for all his family. Being a Navy veteran we, as a country, owe him a huge debt of gratitude and thank him for his service. May God’s loving arms envelope you, Mrs. Lang and give you peace, comfort, strength and love during this time of such great loss. To JJ and all the remainder of the family may God give you comfort, love and peace knowing you will one day see your father, father-in-law, grandfather and great- grandfather again one day in Heaven above.
