Jennifer R. (Turner) Gibson, age 42, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, March 4, 2019.
Born in Wilmington, DE on October 29, 1976, she was a daughter of Michael E. Turner and Lorraine E. Maddox. Jennifer graduated from Christiana HS in 1993 and continued her schooling at Wilmington University majoring in education.
A love of the outdoors, she could always be found flower and plant gardening and camping. Jennifer enjoyed arts, especially making crafts for family and friends. Her fondest memories were made during time spent with her family, especially her son.
Jennifer is survived by her parents, Michael and Lorraine; son, Max Gibson; twin sister, Caroline Turner; and step daughter, Kelsi Snow.
All services will be held privately.

I am so sorry to hear about Jenny’s passing. This is truly heartbreaking. It’s been a couple years since we’ve seen her, but she always had a smile and a kind word for Mallory and I, no matter the occasion. She was truly a gentle soul, with a lot of light inside her that shone to all who knew her. I’m at a loss, as I’m sure her family is. Jeff, Mallory, and I are sending vibes of strength and courage to young Max in hopes that he finds comfort in the love she obviously had for him, and to Mike and Lorraine, as I cannot imagine the grief that comes from having to bury your child. I am at a loss for words for the passing of Jennifer. Was fortunate to have met many of the Turner family upon the birth of Mallory Turner, to Megan (my niece) and Jeff Turner. Blessed Be to all of you. Find strength within one another.

I’ll never forget how supportive Jennifer was when I was going thru some tough times in my life. That’s the way she was; she always accepted you for who you were in an nonjudgemental way and always was cheerful and looked on the bright side of things. When a situation seemed hopeless she would share her hopeful feelings with you and helped you to be hopeful too.
My deepest sympathy goes out to Michael, Lorraine, Max, Caroline, and Kelsi. Rest in peace Jen. I miss you.
