Karen Jayne Sparks

Karen Jayne Sparks, age 62, of Townsend, DE, passed away on Thursday, February 20, 2020.         

Born in Newark, DE on January 25, 1958, she was a daughter of the late Robert Fleeger and Alice (Nickle) Osborne. Karen had a passion for working with handicapped children and worked for the Delaware School for the Deaf in her earlier years.        

She was a loving wife, loyal sister, true friend, an incredible mother, and the best mom-mom. Karen had a glow that could light up a room. She was a genuine and kind hearted woman who always tried to do right by everyone. Karen will be dearly missed by all who loved her.

Karen is survived by her husband, John Sparks; daughter, Amy Oliver; sisters, Kathleen Figgs and Shirley Taylor; brothers, Donald and Robert Fleeger and Harold Osborne; grandchildren, Melissa Walker and Andrew Oliver; and several nieces and nephews.

All services will be held privately.
