Alexander Coulter “Sandy” Graham III

Alexander Coulter “Sandy” Graham III, age 78, of Newark, DE, passed away on Wednesday, October 19, 2022.
Born in New Albany, IN, on September 16, 1944, he was a son of the late Alexander Coulter II and Susan Kathleen Graham. Sandy proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He graduated from Newark High School in 1962 and then went on to receive his B.A. in history from the University of Delaware in 1967.
Sandy was a member of St. Thomas’s Episcopal Church where he sang in the choir and he was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Newark. In his leisure time, he enjoyed collecting antiques and reading.
Sandy is survived by his beloved wife, Barbara Ann (Fortner) Graham; loving son, Sandy Graham (Heather); granddaughter, Kathleen Graham; and brother, Robert Graham (Evelyn).
A funeral liturgy will be held at 10 am on Friday, November 18, 2022 at St. Thomas’s Episcopal Church, 276 South College Avenue, Newark, DE. A separate interment in the church cemetery will be held privately.

My Dad (Dave Wisor Sr) and Sandy were very good friends in high school. I’m paying respects on his behalf. Although they weren’t close in later years, I always enjoyed hearing stories about their “antics”. Prayers for you and your family.
