One Condolence for Alvis M. Brown

  • I am very saddened to hear about my uncle Alvis. Knowing him like I did, I’m sure he was very sad inside because he truly did enjoy the outdoors and now he is in a better place. Every opportunity we had when he came for visits to Beckley, He and I would golf, not just to play but to visit with each other..When he lived in Beckley we belonged to a state park membership and played often. We always enjoyed each others company. Alvis was like a brother to me and I will miss him. I know the passing of his daughter Chris was devastating to him.
To all the remaining family, I want you to know that each time we caught up on time passed and he spoke of everyone, he was very happy while sharing family updates.
Alvis was a very unselfish and a giving person and I look forward to seeing him again in heaven.
I truly am sorry for your loss. Thinking of all of you, Greg and Debbie
