Anakia Varoo Skylen Foster, age 14, of Middletown, DE, passed away on Thursday, December 31, 2020.
Born in Huntington, IN on June 7, 2006, she was a daughter of Charles Wayne Foster and Carrie Sue Harned. Anakia was a bright, cheerful, and inspiring 8th grader at Redding Middle School. She brought smiles to the hearts of those who witnessed her passion for singing, a talent she readily shared with others. Anakia enjoyed cooking, dancing, and loved expressing herself through artwork. She had an outgoing personality and treasured the company of her family and friends. Anakia will be remembered for her ability to uplift others, a wonderful sense of humor, and zest for life. Her outgoing personality and contagious laughter will be missed by all who were fortunate enough to know her.
Anakia was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Daniel Foster, Sr. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her siblings, Jessica Stewert, Britney Stewert, Kristian Harned, Clayton McGuire, Christopher McGuire, and Dana Foster; paternal grandmother, Debbie Sylvestre; maternal grandparents, Donald and Susan Harned; and several aunts, uncles and many cousins.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 3 pm until 5 pm on Wednesday, January 6, 2021, at Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 275 East Main Street, Middletown, DE. Face masks are required for all in attendance. Interment will be held privately.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to assist with funeral expenses to Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 275 East Main Street, Middletown, DE 19709.
