Mr. Angelo Bufo, age 50, of Bear, DE, passed away after a long illness on Sunday, October 9, 2011, surrounded by the family he loved.
Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina on January 2, 1961, Angelo immigrated to the United States at the age of 14. He was admired throughout his life as a very hard worker and an excellent provider for his beloved family. He was a devoted husband, father, and son.
He is survived by his devoted wife of 25 years, Sandra Lee Bufo; sons, Francesco and Angelo; parents, Francesco and Rosa Bufo; and numerous and beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family.
Visitation will be held from 2 pm to 4 pm and again from 6 pm to 8 pm on Friday, October 14, 2011, and from 8 am to 9:30 am on Saturday, October 15, 2011, at the Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 1000 N. DuPont Parkway, New Castle, DE. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10:30 am on Saturday, October 15, 2011, at Holy Family R.C. Church, E. Chestnut Hill and Gender Roads, Newark, DE. Interment will follow in Gracelawn Memorial Park, 2220 N. DuPont Parkway, New Castle, DE.
