Ann W. Davis-Schwenk, age 73, of Middletown, DE, passed away on Friday, December 21, 2018.

Born in Perry County, TN, she was a daughter of the late William Harold and Eula Mary (Clifton) Weems. Ann had a long career as a realtor and more recently worked for Walgreens.

She enjoyed traveling, cooking and listening to music. Ann had a keen eye and a great sense for interior design, floral design and gardening. In her spare time, she loved to read American History books.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Wayland Bruce Weems and nephew, Derek Weems. Ann is survived by her husband, David E. Schwenk; children, Clarke Davis (Lieren) of Bradenton, FL and Laura RoseAnne Simmons of Cains, Queensland, Australia; step-children, Sean-David Schwenk (Cindy) of Lake Forest, CA and Erika Rebecca Schwenk of Palm Harbor, FL; siblings, Walter Harley Weems (Anneliese) of Leesburg, FL and Annette Mealer (Dwight) of Waverly, TN; sister-in-law, Edith (Rhodes) Weems; and a host other nephews, nieces and extended family members and friends.

A graveside service will be held at 11 am on Saturday, January 12, 2019, at Evergreen Cemetery, 799 Baltimore Street, Gettysburg, PA .

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Ann’s memory to a charity of the donor’s choice.
