AnnaMay Hannah, age 73, of New Castle, DE, passed away on Monday, August 31, 2020.

Born in Wilmington, DE on March 27, 1947, she was a daughter of Theresa A. (Kamilovic) Kersey and the late Ralph William Paris. AnnaMay attended Del A War High School. Throughout her life, she worked in hospitality. For many years, AnnaMay owned and operated Derf’s Restaurant & Bar in New Castle, where she made many lifelong friendships.

AnnaMay was a member of Atterbury VFW, Post 3420. She enjoyed going to the beach, especially with her mother. AnnaMay was a very social and outgoing individual and will be dearly missed by her family, who she loved very much.

AnnaMay was preceded in death by her father, Ralph William Paris; and her stepfather who raised her, Kennith Kersey. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her children, Theresa Thompson (Ron) and Kenny Hannah (Chéri); grandchildren, Jeremy L. Hannah, William L. Hannah II, Kenneth W. Hannah Jr., Madison Hannah, Jaxson Hannah and Isabella Hannah; great grandchildren, Lia Hannah, Landyn Hannah and Olivia Hannah; and brother, William R. Paris.

All services will be held privately.

Went to school with her neighbors in Collins Park where you grew up hung out at Derfs also had a great time whenever in her company. She’s in God’s hands now R.I.P.
