Barbara A. “Bobbie” Sutton

Barbara A. Sutton, age 77, of New Castle, DE, passed away on December 18, 2017, surrounded by her loving family.

Bobbie was born in Federalsburg, MD on August 22, 1940, a daughter of the late Edwin H. and Mildred M. (Hearn) Fearins. She graduated from Wilmington High School in 1958. Bobbie worked as a cashier with Acme Markets at the Fairfax store, retiring after 28 years of service. Bobbie was a member of the Newark Senior Center where she served as treasurer of TOPS Club, Inc. She enjoyed camping and traveling with her family.

She is survived by her husband of 51 years, A. Donald Sutton; son, Edwin P. Sutton of New Castle; grandchildren, Holly Lott (Joshua), Christina Sutton and Shaina Sutton; and great grandson, Joshua David Lott.

A gathering for family and friends will be held at the Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 1000 N. DuPont Parkway, New Castle, DE, on Wednesday, December 27th from 10 until 11 am, with a funeral service beginning at 11 am. Interment will follow in Gracelawn Memorial Park.
