Bonnie L. Moore

Bonnie L. Moore, age 77, of New Castle, DE, passed away on Saturday, August 14, 2021.

Born in Wilmington, DE on April 16, 1944, she was a daughter of the late Elmer Leroy and Genevie (Emery) Stout.

Bonnie was a loving homemaker for many years who cherished taking care of her family. She owned and operated R.J. Moore Furniture Refinishing in Minquadale with her late husband for 40 years. In her spare time, Bonnie loved to garden. More than anything, she loved her family and any time spent with them.

 In addition to her parents, Bonnie was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Robert J. Moore, Jr.; and her brother, Thomas Logan. She is survived by her children, Robert J. Moore, III (Robin) of Millsboro, Christine M. Moore (Tom Schiffhauer) of New Castle, and Stephen L. Moore, Sr. (Gina) of Smyrna; grandchildren, Tim, Stephen, Jr., Mia, R.J., Sarah, and Shelby; and great-granddaughter, Lily.

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 12:30 pm until 1:30 pm on Monday, August 23, 2021 at Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 1000 N. DuPont Parkway, New Castle, DE, where a funeral service will begin at 1:30 pm. Face coverings will be required for all those in attendance not immunized with the COVID-19 vaccine per the Governor of Delaware. Interment will follow in Gracelawn Memorial Park, 2220 N. DuPont Highway, New Castle, DE.

The family would like to say a special thanks to Kelly, Julianna, and Annette, who lovingly cared for Bonnie for many years.
