Carol J. Teel, age 68, of Newark, DE, passed away on Wednesday, February 2, 2022, in Fort Myers, FL at her daughter’s house surrounded by her loved ones.

Born in Ridley Park, PA on September 23, 1953, she was a daughter of David Robinson and the late Ann West. Carol spent her entire career working for Eckerds then Rite Aid and retired in 2020 as a merchandising representative for Revlon and Almay.

Carol was a graduate of Newark High School in 1971. She knew everyone in Newark and enjoyed going to every reunion and social event. Carol spent countless hours at the Oaklands Pool and hanging out with the pool ladies. Treating her family and friends with her infamous potato salad was one of her favorite joys. When she wanted to get away, she enjoyed visiting the Delaware Beaches, St. John, and Jost Van Dyke with her best girlfriends. In her spare time Carol liked to sit outside and read. She loved going to listen to live music especially The Beatles and was thrilled to see the Magic Mystery. Above all, Carol’s favorite thing to do was to spend time with her family and friends. She is now reunited again in Heaven with her beloved husband, Alan.

In addition to her mother, Carol was preceded in death by her husband, Alan Teel; and siblings, Kenneth Robinson, Gary Robinson, and Shelly Robinson. She is survived by her daughter, Jen Sheldon (Cory); granddaughter, Grace; father, David Robinson; sisters, Amy Ferguson (Greg) and Gail Lenhoff (Dennis); brother-in-law, Darryl Teel (Yvonne); animals, Baby Girl Lacey, Grandpuppy Blue, and Scouty Boy; and many nieces and nephews.

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 11:30 am until 12:30 pm on Saturday, March 12, 2022, at Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 121 West Park Place, Newark, DE, where a memorial service will begin at 12:30 pm. Inurnment will be held privately in Newark Cemetery.
