Carol Ronneburger Janas
Carol Ronneburger Janas, age 57, passed away on December 29 2021.
Carol was the loving daughter of Ray Payne; caring sister to Gina Scarmozzi (Nick), Susanna Minkalis (George) and Gail Ronneburger (Charlie). Her pride and joy were her children – William Janas (Leigha) and grandson Blake and arriving in March , Baby Carter; her daughter and best friend, Christy Janas (jerry) and grandaughter Airiella. She was the treasured niece of Joe Gallo (Betty). Carol is further survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends. She had such a giving spirit and anyone who knew her was blessed.
Carol was greeted in heaven by her father, James Ronneburger, her grandparents, her cat Creamsicle and many other cherished family and friends that celebrated her arrival.
Carol showed such bravery and strength during her stay at Christiana Hospital, where she passed from Covid pneumonia.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
Her family would like to thank everyone who touched her life but most recently, Dr Tea Ramishvili, Nurse Shaynie and Nurse Stephanie, who all showed such compassion during this tragic experience.
In lieu of flowers our family asks that you honor Carol by being kind and compassionate while living your life to the fullest.

I was blessed to know Carol through the gift of my high school friendship with Gina…and Carol’s friendship has been a gift in recent years as well. What comes to my mind and heart most often when I think of Carol is her incredible generosity of spirit. She always knew how to lift someone with her caring words; she was so full of grace for all those around her. She knew what it felt like to be anxious and insecure sometimes, and she never left anyone feeling that way if she could help it. She had such a fabulous genuine laugh, and her love for her family was unmatched…she thought William and Christy and her grandchildren hung the moon and it was a beautiful thing to witness. Her sisters and her Mom meant the world to her. My faith is strong but I can’t lie; I don’t understand losing such a beautiful soul like Carol’s…I will miss her loving and kind comments on my Facebook page and her extended hand across the miles. She is irreplaceable. I wish all of the family peace and mercy in this sorrowful time and lots of opportunities to share all of the fantastic memories she left imprinted on your hearts. Sending love to you all.

Feel her in the rain, on a golden ray of a sunny day, in the whisper of a sea breeze with a mist of ocean spray, the thunderous waves crashing on the sandy salty seashore as the beach birds fill the air with their song.
With my deepest condolences,
May you all feel Carols presence and love ❤️

My family lived in Swanwyck, around the corner, from Carol and her beautiful family. We also had four girls in our family like the Ronneburger family. I remember wonderful times as a kid playing in their backyard and swimming in their Uncles pool next door. I’m so sorry for your loss, I remember the love I felt when I was in their home. God bless you and your family. Carol is an angel protecting us now.
