Carolyn E. Vincent

October 17, 1942 - October 11, 2024

Carolyn E. Vincent, age 81, of Newark, DE, passed away on Friday, October 11, 2024.

Born in New York, NY, on October 17, 1942, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Marjorie (Groppenbacher) Falls.

She loved to visit the beach, play the slots or travel to Lancaster, PA. Carolyn was a member of the Newark Senior Center where she met a great group of ladies, dubbed the Lunch Bunch. She found peace reading a book or tending to her garden and was known to tell a good story. Carolyn was also an avid Philadelphia Phillies baseball fan. She embodied what it meant to put family first. She would always look forward to hosting everyone for holiday gatherings and treasured all the lasting memories made with her family, especially her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Carolyn was preceded in death by husband, Harold E. Vincent and her first husband, John H. Regan. Carolyn was lucky enough to find true love twice in her lifetime. She is survived by her sons, John C. Regan (Vanessa) and Michael A. Vincent; and her grandchildren, Sarah Regan, Kevin Regan, Jack Regan and Gavin Vincent.

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 9:30 am until 11 am on Thursday, October 17, 2024, at Holy Angels R.C. Church, 82 Possum Park Road, Newark, DE, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 11 am. Interment will be held privately.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Carolyn’s memory to the American Lung Association of the Mid-Atlantic (Philadelphia Chapter) at 625 N. Governor Printz Blvd # 2, Essington, PA 19029 or online by clicking here.
