Christopher M. “Biskit” Blevins Sr.

October 19, 1973 - January 16, 2026

Christopher M. “Biskit” Blevins Sr., age 52, of New Castle, DE, passed away suddenly on Friday, January 16, 2026.

Born in Wilmington, DE on October 19, 1973, he was a son of Mary E. (Hillis) Blevins and the late Richard Gail Blevins, Sr. For more than 10 years, Biskit proudly worked for R. Keating and Sons Excavating, where he was known for his love for his job. He brought the same passion to his work that he brought to life. Biskit shared a special bond with everyone he worked with, especially Brodi, an extension of the love he gave so freely to those close to him.

Biskit loved NASCAR, and his heart belonged to Philadelphia sports, especially the 76ers. He formed lifelong friendships that became family, especially Jason Munion, and countless others who shared years of memories, laughter, and loyalty with him. Biskit was a true storyteller; animated, expressive, and laughing through every tale. His unmistakable laugh could light up any room and made everyone around him smile. Biskit lived a life full of laughter, love, and unforgettable stories.

Biskit will be remembered as a loving father, a devoted son and brother, a loyal friend, and a man whose warmth and humor left a lasting mark everyone who knew him. His love for family and friends was deep and unwavering, and his presence will be missed more than words can express. Though his life ended far too soon, the memories, laughter, and love he shared will live on forever.

Biskit was preceded in death by his father, Richard Blevins. He was a devoted and loving father to Makenzie Blevins and Christopher Blevins Jr., who were the pride and joy of his life. He is also survived by his mother, Mary Ellen Blevins; siblings, Tom Blevins (Col), Richard Blevins, Jeff Blevins (Cindy), and Jenni Blevins; nieces and nephews, Brianna (Eric), Jeffrey, Chelsea, Wesley, and Lanie; great-nephew, Colt; uncle, Lloyd Blevins; aunt, Judy Hillis; and his dog, Maggie whom he adored.

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 10 am until 12 pm on Saturday, January 31, 2026, at Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 275 East Main Street, Middletown, DE, where a memorial service will begin at 12 pm. Inurnment will be held privately.

  • Biskit.. You were certainly one of a kind my friend. In life, we’re lucky to have people like you. Youre that friend that, no matter how rough things got, all we had to do was think of you and just have to smile. Wherever you went, laughter was sure to be there thanks to you. You gave us all that part of you. You named my Ford Pinto in high school “The Dopester” which still brings a laugh. Im privileged to have known you. Im sure you already have those that went ahead of us “baggin’ up” in Heaven. They say we’re not truly gone until our name is no longer spoken. So no doubt you’ll still be here for many many years. Until I see you again… Keep being you! All I can say to your family is, you all have my deepest condolences. Love ya

  • Chris Blevins, one of the Castle OG’s! No one like this kid. Entertainment was around any time he was around. I remember him being the coolest kid in the school, because he acknowledged you regardless of who you were. Way to young, this world will not be the same without you lighting up a room everywhere you went. RIP Chris
