  • I am so very sorry for your loss. I worked with both your mother and father at Dupont before they were married and my husband and I attended their wedding. I had not seen them in years but we did reconnect on Facebook. We had some great times at the Odd Fellows building while working for DuPont. I was shocked to hear of your fathers passing last year and am just as shocked to hear of your mothers. Please accept our most sincere condolences. God bless you all.

  • Dear Janene and Shannon,

We are shocked and saddened to learn of your mother’s passing. There are so many fun memories of times at Maple Valley and NewArk High with both your parents. Remember all those pool parties when the parents were sillier than the kids and you were all so embarrassed by our antics? I am sure they are both smiling down on you and your families. Eventually I hope you can think back on them with a smile on your face.

  • Claudia and I worked together for several years at the University of Delaware. She was always so very helpful to me. Claudia was kind and considerate and we found many occasions to laugh together. We became friends and stayed in touch when she moved to another department at the University. We even stayed in touch after I left the University. It has been many years since I was last in touch with Claudia, but she is one of those people who you never forget – who makes a lasting impression. I am so very sorry to hear of her passing and convey my deepest sympathies to her family.

  • Janene and Shannon your Mom was a wonderful lady, we had some great times together, she will be missed deeply. She was always smiling and knew how to keep you laughing. I remember the vacation when we went to Georgia together(what a crazy time!) She was really proud of her two daughters. May she rest in peace

  • Claudia will hold a special place in my heart. She was always up for anything fun and loved being around family and friends.
Her quilt making was extraordinary and her baking set her apart as one of the best. Will miss her smile and laughter. G-d bless.

  • Dear Janene, Shannon and Family, My deepest sympathy in the passing of your wonderful mother. She was many things to many people; mother, wife, mother in law, sister, sister in law, grandmother and friend who was loved deeply. Please know you are in our thoughts and prayers. So many stories, so many memories. Velina Britton and Family

  • Dear Janine and Shannon, I am so very sorry for your loss. My heart goes out to you in sympathy, concern and love. You are both too young to have lost both parents. I pray and hope that fun memories of times you shared with them will help you through the tough times. Madalyn ❤️🙏🏻

  • Dear Janene and Eric Ebaugh and children,
I am so very sorry for your loss. I knew your mother (& MIL) only from high school. But I remember that she was always kind and friendly and smiled a lot. She really did not look much different then, as compared to the picture of her you posted…kind and happy. I will be away on the 14th and don’t anticipate attending her service. Hold tight to your wonderful memories, Our Lord, and that many are praying for courage and comfort for your family at this difficult time, and in the days and years to come. When both your parents are gone, everything is different. My heart will surely be with you Friday morning.

  • When I first started with DuPont at the Dupont Country Club, I worked with Claudia. I remember her as a kind and caring person. She trained me on a number of jobs and was patient with all. My deepest sympathy to her family.

  • I just learned of Claudia‘s passing. She was truly a kind soul and will be greatly missed by friends and family. Our prayers travel with her as she moves through the heavens.
