Coralie L. Snavely, age 83, of Bear, DE, passed away on Tuesday, August 30, 2011.
Born in Kiski, PA, on February 2, 1928, Coralie was the daughter of the late Charles Dukes and Helen Sheubrooks. She was a talented homemaker throughout her life and delighted in spending time with her beloved family.
Coralie greatly enjoyed reading in her leisure time and became interested in computers in her 70s. She also enjoyed shopping for family and friends on QVC.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William H. Snavely. She is survived by her sons, Ralph Phillips (Roberta) of Bear, and Gary Phillips (Joan) of New Castle; brother, Jay Parthemore of Boca Raton, FL; five grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 4 pm on Friday, September 2, 2011, at the Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 1000 N. DuPont Parkway, New Castle. Interment will be held privately in Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
