  • Helen and Family,

I would like to send my condolences and remember Dale as a wonderful man. I met Dale in 1994 with the Blue Rocks where I worked with him for 3 seasons before I moved on and now work with the Lake Elsinore Storm in California. I remember his passion and excitement as we opened the new stadium and it does not surprise me that he worked there for 21 seasons. Andrew Layman passed along the message that Dale told him just last month that Dave Oster told me to stand at the first base suite stairs in 1994 and I never left. I am honored that he remembered me and I am happy to be a small part of his baseball life that he so enjoyed. Even in his passing I have a feeling he is still there at those first base suite steps. May he rest in peace.
