Daniel Joseph “Danny” Russo, age 38, of Wilmington, DE, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, December 24, 2024.

 

​Born in Wilmington, DE on January 4, 1986, he was a son of Larry Russo and Mary (Herman) McMonigle. Danny was a landscaper with his father’s landscaping business and was most recently employed with Master Interiors as a laborer.

 

He was a passionate and creative artist with a great imagination. Danny loved spending quality time with family and friends, whether it was taking trips to the beach riding the waves or just staying home watching a movie. He was a true foodie who particularly enjoyed seafood, steak, Italian food, and Taco Bell.

 

Danny is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Sonny Herman and paternal grandparents, Donald and Lois Russo. He will be dearly missed by his parents Larry Russo and Mary McMonigle (Barry); sons, Daniel Russo, Matthew Bender, and Nicholas Russo; maternal grandmother, Dorothy Herman; brothers, Scott Scully (Gina) and Larry Russo (Mandy); and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
