David Chris Malin

David Chris Malin, Sr., age 73, of New Castle, DE, passed away on Thursday, September 2, 2021.
Born in Burnwell, WV on August 9, 1948, he was a son of the late Thomas J. and Margie M. (Wriston) Malin.
David was a family man. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing and hunting. David enjoyed watching all sports. Dedicated to his faith, he was a member of Christ the Cornerstone Church and attended regularly. Those who knew David, knew he had a love for food and eating- especially at buffets and holiday dinners! He will be remembered for his wonderful sense of humor and for being a good Christian man.
In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by his of wife of 27 years, Ruth Malin; his son, David Malin, Jr.; and siblings, Larry Malin and Doris Beal. He is survived by his siblings, Thomas Malin (Ramona), Donald Malin, Joy Preston (Tom), Terry Malin (Vickie); son, Jimmy Malin (Lisa); and grandchildren, Nicholas, Natalie, and Noelle.
A memorial service will be held at a later date at Christ the Cornerstone Church. Interment will be held privately.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in David’s memory to Christ the Cornerstone Church, 3135 Summit Bridge Rd, Bear, DE 19701.
