David Richard Smoot

David Richard Smoot, age 52, of Newark, DE, passed away on Wednesday, December 28, 2022.
Born in Wilmington, DE on September 11, 1970, he was a son of Elsie and the late Richard Smoot. David was a dedicated employee at Creative Floors.
David was an avid Miami Dolphins fan. He enjoyed playing baseball as a child and bowling in his younger years. David loved attending classic cars shows and listening to classic rock.
In addition to his mother, David is survived by his loving daughters, Taylor Smoot and Alexis Smoot; and siblings, Lisa (Bill), Lynne (Dave), Sharon (Bill), and Steven (Betty).
The family will receive friends from 4 pm until 6 pm on Monday, January 2, 2023, at Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 121 West Park Place, Newark, DE. Funeral service and interment will be held privately.
