Dolores M. “Do-Do” (Bristow) Wyre

Dolores M. Do-Do (Bristow) Wyre, age 84, lifelong resident of Wilmington, DE, passed away on Friday, December 1, 2017.
Born on January 29, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Frank C. and Agnes (Peterson) Bristow. Dolores was employed at the Jackson Inn for many years.
She was an avid reader and enjoyed solving crossword puzzles, cheering on the Phillies, and visiting Delaware Park. Dolores will always be remembered as a loving mom, grandmom, and a dear friend to many.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her children, Steven R. and Cynthia A. Paulus, and her brother, Frank C. Bristow, Jr. Dolores is survived by her husband, William S. Wyre; son, Russell A. Paulus (Donna); daughter, Lisa M. Pobanz (Leroy); 6 grandchildren; and 1 great granddaughter.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 11 am until 12 Noon on Friday, December 8, 2017 at the Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 1000 N. DuPont Parkway, New Castle, DE, where a funeral service will be held at 12 Noon. Interment will follow in Gracelawn Memorial Park.
