Dominic Michael Viola, age 47, of Elkton, MD, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, October 20, 2023. Born in Wilmington, DE, on June 11, 1976, he was the son of John J. and Eleanor L. (Cassidy) Viola.
Dominic is survived by his mother, Eleanor L. Viola; father, John J. Viola (Anita); daughter, Francesca A. Viola; sister, Andria L. Bennett (Brad); and many extended family members and life-long friends.
Dominic was a loving father, son, brother, and friend and will be deeply missed. Dominic had many interests and hobbies and was happiest when he was with friends and family. He enjoyed helping people and was always willing to give the shirt off his back to those in need.
Through everything, his greatest joy in life was spending time with his daughter. Waking up every day being Francesca’s dad was his most treasured achievement. She was the light of his life and best friend.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 6 pm until 8 pm on Monday, October 30, 2023, at Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 1000 North DuPont Parkway, New Castle, DE. Interment will be held privately.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Dominic’s memory to a charity of the donor’s choice.
