Donna M. Sheats, age 64, of New Castle, DE, passed away on Tuesday, December 23, 2025.
Born in Wilmington, DE, on May 23, 1961, she was a daughter of Mary (Hamm) Baer and the late Robert Baer. Donna retired in November of 2025 from W.L. Gore & Associates as a logistics associate where she very much enjoyed working with her co-workers. She loved traveling, especially trips to the beach and in view of any body of water. Most of all, Donna loved her family and spending time with them. She absolutely adored her grandchildren, and attending their activities and sporting events.
In addition to her father, Donna was preceded in death by her husband, Jeri A. Sheats, Sr.; and daughter, Stacy L. Sheats. She is survived by her mother, Mary (Hamm) Baer; son, Jeri A. Sheats, Jr. (Pamela); sister, Kathy Sheats; and grandchildren, Jeri III, Charlotte, Alexis, Michael, and Katarra.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 11 am until 12 noon on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, at Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 1000 North DuPont Parkway, New Castle, Delaware, where a funeral service will begin at 12 noon. Interment will follow in Gracelawn Memorial Park, 2220 North DuPont Highway, New Castle, Delaware.
