Doreen DiEmidio, age 55, of Wilmington, DE, passed away on Thursday, June 18, 2020.
Born in Philadelphia, PA on February 7, 1965, she was a daughter of Janet M. (Hargest) Yannuzzi and the late Albert J. DiEmidio, Jr. Doreen was a graduate of Delcastle Technical High School, class of 1983. She worked as a phlebotomist in the healthcare profession. Above all, Doreen loved her family and cherished time spent with them.
In addition to her father, Doreen was preceded in death by her step-father, Thomas J. Yannuzzi. She is survived by her son, Vincent Powell (Rachel) of Smyrna; sisters, Denice Baker (Stephen) of New Castle, Diana DiEmidio (Paul) of Middletown and Dawn Stone (Jeremiah) of Townsend; grandchildren, Mia Powers, Colton Powell, Kylee Powell and Brayden Petrillo; companion, Thomas Morris; and many nieces and nephews.
All services will be held privately.
