Doris M. Pusey

Mrs. Doris M. Pusey, age 102, of Newark, DE, formerly of New Castle, passed away on Tuesday, March 19, 2013.
Mrs. Pusey was born Baltimore, MD, on October 6, 1910, daughter of the late William Farrall and Alice Dawson Farrall. She was a talented homemaker throughout her life and had also been employed with the DuPont Company, where she retired after a 25-year career.
A devout Christian, Mrs. Pusey was a longtime member of Union United Methodist Church. She greatly enjoyed playing bingo with her friends and, in recent years, taking trips to Florida.
Her husband, James B. Pusey, passed away in 1977. She is survived by many nieces and nephews, including George A. Schlifkin of Newark and Sandra Syvy of Middletown.
A funeral service will be held at 2 pm on Friday, March 22, 2013, at the Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 1000 N. DuPont Parkway, New Castle, where visitation will begin at 1 pm. Interment will follow in Gracelawn Memorial Park, 2220 N. DuPont Parkway, New Castle.
