Ed was a graduate of Central Bucks High School in Doylestown, PA and attended Penn State University. He proudly served as an artillery specialist in the United States Army and, afterwards, proceeded to work for Peds, Inc., Richard Paul, Inc., and the American Can Co. In his younger years, Ed enjoyed tinkering with his ’55 Chevy Belair, model training with his brother, John, boating, water skiing and spending summer vacations at the Jersey shore or in the Poconos. Ed also enjoyed fishing, tossing horseshoes and playing Pinochle. He was a dedicated member of both the American Legion and Zion Lutheran Church (now Unity Church), where he served many years as an usher. Ed loved spending baseball and football seasons cheering on the Philadelphia Phillies and Eagles and was fortunate enough to see each team win two championships.
In addition to his parents, Ed was preceded in death by his wife, Elinda (Siemers) Dandridge; and daughters, Lori Blum and Terri Bowen. He is survived by his brother, John Dandridge (Claudette); son, Steven Dandridge; granddaughters, Annie Rizzuto, Amanda Bowen, Jenna Blum, and Danielle Bowen; grandsons, Jonathan Blum and Branden Blum; great-granddaughter, Juliana Urbanik; and great-grandson, Amir Moore.

RIP Pop Pop, you are SO missed already. I’m thankful to have called you my grandfather for 32 years. I will forever cherish, love, and miss you. I will hold our memories close to my heart, especially all the trips to the Poconos, watching Big Brother or Survivor together, or cooking meals together in the kitchen. You were such a light in my life and I will truly miss you.

Ed was a kind neighbor who made me feel welcome when we moved to the neighborhood. I loved running in to him on the street and catching up. It was nice knowing he was watching out for us. My dogs know his name and would perk up when asked if they wanted to visit their friend Ed – who always made time to give them attention. Ed, you are missed! May you rest in peace.
