March 24, 1955 - February 25, 2022

Edward Victor Davis, age 66, of Dagsboro, DE, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family on Friday, February 25, 2022.

Born in Wilmington, DE on March 24, 1955, he was a son of the late Harry W. and Violet E. (Bobrowski) Davis. Edward graduated from De La Warr High School in 1974. He made his career as a union insulator, traveling the country for work out of Local 42.

Active in his community, he was a member of Terrace Athletic Club, Rod and Gun Club, Eagles Club and the Moose Lodge. Edward was also a part of the APA Pool League and rode with Delmarva Riders R.C. In his leisure time, he enjoyed fishing, crabbing and boating. Edward will always be remembered as a social butterfly that was blessed with many close friends.

He is survived by his children, Derrick Davis of New Castle, Sheena Zayas (Jesse) of Wilmington and Karissa Davis (Bret) of Newark and granddaughter, Zoey.

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 9:30 am until 10:30 am on Saturday, March 5, 2022, at Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 1000 North DuPont Parkway, New Castle, DE, where a memorial service will begin at 10:30 am. Inurnment will follow in Gracelawn Memorial Park.
