Elaine Louise Williams
November 14, 1945 - July 2, 2022
Elaine Louise Williams, age 76, of Townsend, DE, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, July 2, 2022.
Born in Elkton, MD, on November 14, 1945, she was the daughter of Frank W. and Margaret (Ryan) Truselo, Sr. Elaine worked for Acme Markets until her retirement in 2003. She went on to drive a school bus for Stapleford’s, which she absolutely adored doing, until retiring again in 2020.
Elaine had many interests that included golfing, fishing, gardening, and spending time at the beach in Rock Hall, Maryland. She enjoyed sitting on her back porch and watching all of the wildlife that would visit her yard. Most of all, Elaine enjoyed spending time with her family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Janet Nardinocchi, David Truselo, Thomas Truselo, and Frank Truselo, Jr. Elaine is survived by her loving husband of 40 years, John Williams; daughter, Debbie DePrisco (Michael) of New Castle; son, Michael J. Gawronski, Sr. (Jill) of New Castle; grandchildren, Melissa Comeau (Chris) of Bear, Heather Devich (Justin Langshaw) of Bear, Michael Gawronski, Jr. of Smyrna, Samantha Gawronski of Smyrna, and Elizabeth Gawronski (Jonathon Smith) of Delmar, MD; great grandchildren, Theodore and Roxanne of Delmar, MD; siblings, Pat Truselo (Debbie) of New Castle, Florence Conant (Bob) of Chestertown, MD, and Sue Batchelder (Bob) of NJ; sister-in-law, Roseann Truselo of New Castle; many nieces and nephews; and her furry companion who was by her side for 21 years, Baby Dog.
The Williams family would like to send a special thank you to Dr. Gregory Masters and his team, Dr. Hummayun Ismail, Encompass Rehabilitation, and Bayada Hospice for all they did to care for Elaine.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 10:00 am until 11:30 am on Monday, July 11, 2022, at Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 275 E. Main Street, Middletown, DE, where a funeral service will be held at 11:30 am. Interment will follow in Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 2465 Chesapeake City Road, Bear, DE.

Your unconditional love, your guidance and of course your humor will be missed so much! My heart feels as if it were ripped from my chest!
