Elisa Magdalena “Lisa” (Pacheco) Nicks

Elisa Magdalena “Lisa” (Pacheco) Nicks, age 50, of Elkton, MD, passed away on Tuesday, November 1, 2022.

Born in Wilmington, DE on April 20, 1972, she was a daughter of Sandra Lea (Harris) Pacheco. Lisa was a stay-at-home mom and cherished the time she had raising her children.

Lisa was a great cook, enjoyed going to the beach and the boardwalk. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, especially taking them to festivals and fruit picking. Her family and grandchildren were her entire world.

Lisa was preceded in death by her sister, Michele Pacheco. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her daughters, Rebecca Pacheco, and Elizabeth Pacheco; favorite son, Vernon Nicks all of Elkton; grandchildren, Kendall Pacheco, Mason Reeder, and Lincoln Reeder; niece, Amber Stouch (Jason) of Glenolden, PA; and nephew, William Pacheco of New Castle.

A funeral service for family and friends will begin at 11 am on Friday, November 11, 2022 at Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 1000 North DuPont Parkway, New Castle, DE. Interment will follow in Gracelawn Cemetery, 2220 North DuPont Highway, New Castle, DE.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made is Lisa’s memory to Minquadale Fire Company, Ladies Auxiliary, P.O. Box 647, Manor Branch, New Castle, DE 19720.
