Estelle T. Taylor, age 103, of Newark, DE, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 28, 2018.

Born in Buffalo, NY, on July 23, 1915, she was a daughter of the late Alfred and Ruth Marguerite (Hamilton) Georger. Estelle was a dedicated homemaker who enjoyed raising her children.

She was an avid reader and was a Revolution, Civil War and WWII buff. Estelle enjoyed sewing, baking and loved to travel, especially out of the United States. In her spare time, she volunteered at Christiana Hospital. Estelle will be remembered as a very loving mom and grandmother.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Taylor and sister, Ruth Danz. Estelle is survived by her daughters, Patricia Spae (George) and Jennifer Rossel (Todd); sister, Dorothy MacConnell; 6 grandchildren; and 2 great grandchildren.

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 10:30 am until 11:30 am on Monday, December 31, 2018, at Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 121 West Park Place, Newark, DE, where a funeral service will begin at 11:30 am. Interment will be held at 11:30 am on Wednesday, January 2, 2019, at George Washington Memorial Cemetery, 234 Paramus Road, Paramus, NJ.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Estelle’s memory to either Seasons Hospice of Delaware, 220 Continental Drive, Ste. 101, Newark, DE 19713 or Colonial Williamsburg, Box 1776, Williamsburg, VA 23187-9910.
