Ethyl V. Sikes, age 87, of Newark, DE, passed away on April 24, 2015, at her residence in Newark, surrounded by her loving family.
Mrs. Sikes was born in Perkasie, PA, on November 29, 1927 to the late Spry A. Sparks and Mary Kulp Sparks. She had been a homemaker and a loving and wonderful mom.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Sikes was preceded in death by her loving husband, Thomas C. Sikes, who died in 1989. She is survived by her son, William K. Sikes, II; three grandchildren, William K. Sikes, III (Simone), Kathleen Orr (Albert) and Edwin Sikes; and seven great grandchildren.
Funeral service and interment will be private.
