Eulis “Fred” Starrett

Mr. Eulis F. Starrett, known fondly as “Fred,” age 57, of Newark, DE, passed away on Thursday, August 30, 2012, at Christiana Hospital.
Born in Maryville, TN, on December 9, 1954, Fred proudly served his country in the US Air Force. He made his professional career as an automobile mechanic with Price Auto Group.
Fred was devoted to his family throughout his life. In his leisure hours, he greatly enjoyed playing challenging computer games.
He was preceded in death by his father, Julian Starrett, and his wife, Sandra Lee Starrett. He is survived by his mother, Wanda L. Crouse Wilson; children, Jeremy Adam Starrett of Dover, Christopher Russell Starrett of Elkton, and Amber Michelle Bailey of Newark; brother, David Wilson of Newport News, VA; sister, Theresa Chester of Newark; and grandchildren, Jeremy Jr., Nicole, Kaitlyn, and Aidan.
A funeral service will be held at 11:30 am on Friday, September 7, 2012, at the Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 121 West Park Place, Newark, where visitation will begin at 10:30 am. Interment will follow in Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 2465 Chesapeake City Road, Bear.
