Evelyn M. Witzman

Evelyn M. Witzman, age 91, of Delaware City, DE and formerly of Elmont, NY and Carson, CA, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 12, 2016.

Evelyn was born in New York City, New York on January 24, 1925, and was the only daughter of the late Frank and Justine (Janoska) Gonzales. She devoted her life to caring for her family and was a talented homemaker.

In addition to her parents, Evelyn was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert Ernest Witzman; and son, Thomas Witzman. She is survived by her children, Robert E. Witzman of Bear, DE, Carol Fisher of Florida, James Witzman of Hudson, MA, Joan Stolba of Redondo Beach, CA and Elizabeth Welchman of Baltimore, MD; 13 grandchildren; and several great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 2:45 on Wednesday, June 1, 2016, at the Green Hills Memorial Park in Rancho Palos Verdes, CA.
