In Loving Memory of Evelyn Teresa “Terri” Peisochenski-Abegglen
Evelyn Teresa “Terri” Peisochenski-Abegglen, age 67, of Bear, DE, passed away at home on Tuesday, April 21, 2020, surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Chester, PA on July 8, 1952, she was a daughter of Evelyn Peisochenski and the late Nicholas Peisochenski. Terri worked for the American Red Cross and in real estate for many years. She was always helping people and enjoyed volunteering when and where she could locally and traveled to help during national disasters.
During retirement, Terri and John enjoyed their time traveling the country in their fifth wheel RV along with their two rescued cats, Jaspurr and TJ. They enjoyed camp hosting at different parks, her favorite being Assateague Island National Seashore with the wild horses.
In addition to her father, Terri was preceded in death by her best friend, Linda Park-Hill. She is survived by her husband of 47 years, John; daughter, Nikki (John-Russell); mother, Evelyn; siblings, Cathi (Donnie), Robert, Denise and Lisa; as well as her nieces, nephews and extended family.
Due to circumstances regarding distancing, a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Terri’s memory to any local animal shelter or foster/adopt a pet.
