Fotini “Faye” Pappas

Fotini “Faye” Pappas, age 95, of Wilmington, DE and formerly of Newark, DE, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 17, 2018.

Born in New York, NY on July 4, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Antonios and Vasiliki Livizos. Faye worked as a secretary for the State of Delaware and retired after many dedicated years. She was a long standing member of Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church.

In addition to her parents, Faye was preceded in death by her husband, Col. Nicholas G. Pappas and brothers, Tom Livizos and Homer Livizos. She is survived by her nephews, Tony Livizos (Michelle) and Demetrios Livizos, both of Newark; great niece, Julianna; great nephew, Stavros; and sister-in-law, Sophia Livizos of Newark.

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 11:30 am until 12 noon, on Friday, November 30, 2018, at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, 808 North Broom Street, Wilmington, DE 19806, where a funeral service will begin at 12 noon. Interment will follow in Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 2465 Chesapeake City Road, Bear, DE.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Faye’s name to the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church at the address listed above.
