Frances Leona (Tall) Wienikes

Frances Leona (Tall) Wienikes, age 85, of Wilmington, DE, passed away on Thursday, April 4, 2019.
Born in Wilmington, DE on February 19, 1934, she was the daughter of the late John D. and Julia Hortense (DeMoss) Tall. Frances worked for Greenwood Trust Co. (Discover Card) in data entry. She also worked for DSAAPD for 10 years. Frances had a love of animals and took care of feral cats for years.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, John, Charles and Harold “Bud” Tall; sister-in-law, Vera Tall; and nephew, Drew. Frances is survived by her niece, Julie Tall; nephews, Clint Weldin and Charles Watson; great nieces, Karen Tall and Kristen Anderson; and great nephews, John Tall, Greg Lum and Eric Vincent.
A graveside service will be held at 9:30 am on Friday, April 12, 2019, at Gracelawn Memorial Park, 2220 North DuPont Parkway, New Castle, DE.
