Frankie D. Lee

Frankie D. Lee, age 72, of Newark, DE, passed away on Saturday, January 21, 2012 at St. Francis Hospital in Wilmington.
Mr. Lee was born on June 26, 1939 in Amonate, VA, to the late Paul E. and Hallie Sawyer Lee. He was employed by the Chrysler Corporation and retired after 39 years of service working in repairs. He enjoyed watching NASCAR, going to Delaware Park and loved watching a good football game. He was a true outdoorsman and always enjoyed taking long walks. Above all he dearly loved his family and was very close to his grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Lee was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister. He is survived by his daughter, Donna K. and her husband, Mike Shaver of Newark, DE; son David F. Lee of Bear, DE; brother, Jack J. Lee of NC; sisters, Margaret Wilby of AZ, Malinda Rose and Mae Lloyd both of DE; 4 grandchildren, Amanda Critchley, Joshua and James Shaver, and David Daniels; and 4 great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 11 am on Thursday, January 26 2012 at Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 121 W. Park Place, Newark where friends may visit after 10:30 am.
