One Condolence for Fred L. Coger

  • I saw Fred’s name in The Inquirer death notices. Although it has been a very long time since I have seen him, I recognized his smile. I worked in advertising at The Bulletin. I hung out at the Pen & Pencil and wound up in the newsroom the night Nixon resigned. Fred was one of my favorite people. He was once of the nicest people I have ever met. When the Bulletin first closed, I kept in touch with John Farmer and until recently Craig Ammerman. I always asked about Fred. I am very sorry for your loss. I am sure all of you have a gaping hole in your hearts. He was someone anyone who crossed his path will always remember. I am glad he crossed mine.
