Gary Wayne Blair

Gary Wayne Blair, age 73, of Newark, DE, formerly of Baltimore, MD, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, January 22, 2022.

Born in Lexington, KY on November 2, 1948, he was a son of the late Kimble and Minnie M. Blair. Gary worked as a security guard for Pinkerton until his retirement in 2009. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed fishing and hunting. In his spare time, Gary loved listening to music.

In addition to his parents, Gary was preceded in death by his wife, Sharon (Thomas) Blair. He is survived by his children, Mark Blair, Melissa Blair, and Gary Blair; siblings, Sondra Hall, Warren Blair, Kenny Blair (Kelly), and Darrell Blair; 6 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

All services will be held privately.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Gary’s memory to a charity of the donor’s choice.
