Gregory C. Rose

Gregory C. Rose, age 75, of Newark, DE, passed away on Sunday, November 7, 2021.
Born in Johnstown, PA on February 4, 1946, he was a son of the late Clyde E. and Mary Agnes (Schrift) Rose. Gregory graduated from Salesianum School in 1964. He worked as an electrician for Chrysler for 43 years, retiring in 2007. Gregory served in the Delaware National Guard and was a member of the Knights of Columbus. In his spare time, Gregory enjoyed working in the garden, traveling, watching NASCAR and the Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies. More than anything, he loved his family and any time spent with his grandchildren.
Gregory is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Alicia (Windsor) Rose; children, Sandi Williamson (Rich) of Newark and Stefanie Rose (Andrew) of Bear; grandchildren, Kara, Sebastian, Margaret, and Joe; and great-grandchildren, Charlotte and Scott.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 10 am until 11 am on Thursday, November 18, 2021, at St. Margaret of Scotland R.C. Church, 2431 Frazer Rd, Newark, DE, where a Funeral Mass will begin at 11 am. Face coverings will be required for all those in attendance not immunized with the COVID-19 vaccine per the Governor of Delaware. Interment will be held privately.
