Gregory J. “Bootleg” Himes, age 31, of Dover, DE, passed away at his residence on Tuesday, February 12, 2019.
Born in Darby, PA on November 17, 1987, he was the son of the late Gregory P. and Marilyn (Chester) Himes. Gregory worked for Letica Corporation in Middletown, DE.
Gregory’s children were his pride and joy. He loved life, reading, listening to music and the outdoors, especially camping. Gregory was an avid Star Wars fan and member of the Dark Side of the Force.
He was preceded in death by his parents. Gregory is survived by his wife, Heather N. Himes; sons, Samuel A. Himes and Gregory P. Himes II; step-children, Alex, Lillian and Savanah; brother, Michael D. Gardner; and many dear friends.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 10 am until 11 am on Saturday, February 16, 2019, at Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 1000 North DuPont Parkway, New Castle, DE, where a funeral service will begin at 11 am. Interment will be held privately.

Im sorry for your loss bootleg was more then a friend he was like a brother one of the most heart warming down to earth person I ever meet i still remember the day we meet when he was throwing a bonfire we talked and after hour he realized I sounded like “Chris rock” and so he gave me the nickname.
